Make /sell prices universal. The current system is broken and devalues farming.

Many of your points are definitely valid, however I still believe flat sell rates would be a good idea. First of all, you stated that other servers had the same sell price system we do. I'm not trying to invalidate kokonut_'s post, but you're probably right. I've seen many servers like this, however that's not the main point here. The main point is whether it's a good idea or not.

Another one of your points was that players work hard to get where they are. That's great, and they deserve the rank they have earned. However that doesn't mean they should stop working. In the real world, when you get a promotion, you have to work even harder.

The next point in your post stated that flat sell rates would make higher ranks way too hard to achieve. If flat sell prices were put in, the rank prices would have to be adjusted accordingly. Obviously making $4 million with wheat stacks selling for $2 would be a lot of wheat. 128 million pieces of wheat if I can calculator :geek:

If you make the same items have different values for different players, then you can't really have a player-driven economy. Things like the auction house and chest shops don't work when one guy thinks a diamond is worth $2 and another guy thinks it's worth $5 million.

I know I entirely picked apart your post, but don't take this the wrong way. I'm just trying to explain my view on this topic, though it kinda turned into a rant. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
